Make and Mend Sachet Kit
To celebrate the one year anniversary of my book, Make and Mend, I've designed a series of deluxe kits based around book projects. This kit is a companion to the Sachet project (p. 33-35) and is jam packed with all the high-quality materials you'd need to create a set of 4 hanging sachets. It's a great starter kit in general too, if you're looking for an introductory sashiko kit. Use the instructions from Make and Mend book to create this project. Instructions include use of a sewing machine. You can add-on a book with the purchase of this kit!*
Experiment with creating a variety of patterns with my new Hitomezashi Pattern Stencil, which makes it super easy to create a 1/4 inch grid. This stencil is brand spankin' new and for now only available in this kit.
The herbs included in the kit are high quality, organic, and individually packaged in cellophane (not plastic!), so you can experience mixing your own blend! It's a fun process that you can also share with kids. These herbs were picked not only for their delicious scents, but also for their ability to naturally repel insects.
