This handmade decorative banner is made with repurposed materials recused by a textile recycler and then transformed into a banner by me. The design is inspired by vintage banners and mesmerizing geometric sashiko designs. I created this pattern on a short trip to upstate New York while drawing designs by a pond with loud frogs.
I've created a few handmade banners, but each is unique and one-of-a-kind due to the availability of repurposed materials and the nature of hand stitching.
